Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — One person is dead following a deputy-involved shooting in northeast Albuquerque this morning. The incident occurred near the 500 block of Live Oak Place NE, close to Tramway Blvd. According to the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office,deputies responded to a call about a violent person arming themselves at a home. The suspect was shot and later died at the hospital after being transported to UNMH. BCSO officials confirmed that all deputies are safe, and there are no outstanding suspects. The type of weapon involved has not been specified. The Multi-Agency Task Force is currently investigating.
