Marlett was suicide

Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — A Michigan man shot by Bernalillo County deputies in the Walmart parking lot at Coors and Rio Bravo on February 11th did not die from law enforcement gunfire. BCSO says 32-year-old Max Marlett died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound before he was struck by deputies’ bullets. He had been identified as sexual assault suspect and was cornered in the parking lot when shots were fired. The gun and spent shell casing were found on his lap behind the wheel of his truck.
