Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — The Rio Rancho Police Department is looking for a redesign of their squad cars, and they’re turning to local students. Entries are being taken through the end of March for designs that includes the phrase, “Rio Rancho Police Serving since 1981.” 3 stars or the call signs of the department’s 3 fallen officers must also appear on the vehicles, along with the American flag. Students in Rio Rancho are encouraged to be creative, and submit designs by email or in person at the police department.
