Albuquerque, NM KKOB) — A bill to fund behavioral health initiatives was passed by the New Mexico legislature, and is set to be signed into law. Senate Bill 1 creates a trust fund to support the New Mexico Health Care Authority, and also calls for regional meetings to set priorities. The $1-Billion fund would pay out $50-million each year in grants to mental health care providers in each region of the state.
