Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — It will be life sentences for 2 men convicted Friday in the death of 11-year-old Froylan Villegas and wounding of his cousin outside an Isotopes game in 2023. Jose Romero and Nathan Garley were both found guilty of first-degree murder, along with charges in the paralyzing of Tatiana Villegas. The men fired on the family’s pickup believing it belonged to a gang rival. A third suspect – who testified against the two – will be tried separately.
