New Mexico tops the list

A new study by Kevin McManus Law has ranked New Mexico as the most dangerous state in the U.S., with an overall score of 81.28 out of 100. The study analyzed factors like traffic fatalities, workplace injuries, firearm deaths, and crime rates. New Mexico’s high crime rates, including aggravated assault and motor vehicle theft, contributed to the top ranking. Louisiana and Arkansas ranked second and third, with scores of 73 and 66. The study found Rhode Island to be the safest state, with its low crime and accident rates.
