Governor appoints brother

Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham has appointed her brother to be a regent at New Mexico Highlands University.

The governor defends the appointment, saying Greg Lujan is exactly the kind of person she wants as a regent – an adult who went back to school to get a college degree. He’ll serve as the student regent through 2026, and was selected by his sister after going through the application process.
