Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — A man is facing charges in Monday’s shooting at the DeVargas Mall in Santa Fe that struck one one person and damaged a window. Police say it was a pellet gun used by 24-year-old Jeffrey Rodriguez-Hernandez, so the person who was hit was not considered injured. However, the shooting resulted in a large police response, and a SWAT team took the suspect into custody. He faces numerous charges, including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
