Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — Isleta Resort & Casino has partnered with the Veterans Integration Centers to host a Thanksgiving lunch for veterans and their families. The event will take place at the VIC’s new location, near the intersection of I-25 and Gibson, on Nov. 27th from 12-2 p.m. Nationwide, approximately 33,000 veterans experience homelessness each night. In New Mexico, veterans make up nearly 10% of the homeless population.
