Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — The holidays are upon us and a new holiday film written, produced, and directed by New Mexicans is set to premiere in early December. Three dozen NMSU students took part in the production of “Santa’s Cousin”, which was filmed throughout Las Cruces and parts of southern New Mexico in October and November of last year. The film follows the story of Santa’s reluctant cousin, who saves a Christmas Jubilee for the picturesque town of Ruidoso, and finds love along the way. The film stars Alexandra Harris and Academy Award nominee Eric Roberts.
