Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — Opening statements are underway today in the trial of a 20-year-old man accused of killing a fellow movie patron in the Century Rio 24 Theaters last year. Jury selection was held Tuesday as Enrique Padilla faces first-degree murder charges in the death of 52-year-old Michael Tenorio as the men argued over seating arrangements. Padilla has been held without bail since the killing. His trial is expected to last 6 days.
