Coach resigns

Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — A hazing incident at Santa Fe High School last month has led to the resignation of their head football coach. Head coach Andrew Martinez had been on administrative leave since last month over the accusations about a student being sexually assaulted by members of the football team. Coach Martinez was not implicated in the assault, but was caught up in the investigation as head coach. On Wednesday, Martinez posted on his X account that he had officially resigned and thanked supporters. To this point, there have been no criminal charges filed in the case, as Santa Fe police continue to investigate.
