Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — Voters voted their approval Tuesday, having decisively passed four state bond measures on the ballot. A measure to allow $30.8 million in bonds will go towards building and improving senior facilities. 63% of the electorate passed more than $10,000,000 in bonds to go toward modernizing public safety radio communications systems. $19.3 million in bonds will will be applied to public libraries. Finally, voters also approved $230.26 million in bonds to fund capital improvements and acquisitions for public higher education institutions, special public schools and tribal schools.
