Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — A charter school teacher in southeast Albuquerque is identified as one of the 9 suspects in a child sex exploitation sting. Albuquerque Public Schools confirms 51-year-old Stephen Charles Phillips is employed at Cien Agua International Charter School, although the campus is run independent of the district. He’s due in court today [WED] with charging documents accusing him of chatting online with what he thought was the father of a 12-year-old girl. The chat was reportedly on the FetLife and Kik apps to arrange to have sex with the child. The father was actually an undercover officer.
