Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — Civic Plaza is ready for summer fun. The Splash Pad on Civic Plaza is now open seven days a week for anyone to cool off. The splash pad is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., every day through Labor Day Weekend. After Labor Day Weekend, the pad will be spraying on weekends through mid-October – just don’t forget your sunscreen.
The Splash Pad on Civic Plaza is made up of a grid of several lighted geysers that spray water up about three feet. It’s adjacent to the Prickly Pear Playground and provides a cool place to play as the weather starts to heat up.
