Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — The New Mexico Department of Veterans’ Services (DVS) will hold its first public quarterly veterans’ community meeting of the year on February 28 in Albuquerque at the New Mexico Veterans Memorial, at 1100 Louisiana Blvd. SE.
The meeting will be from 9 a.m. to noon in the Memorial’s conference room. DVS Cabinet Secretary Jamison Herrera will provide an update on DVS agency news and events and will be seeking input from veterans regarding issues or concerns they have about services and programs for veterans and their families.
Representatives from the VA, Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), American Legion, and Disabled American Veterans (DAV) have also been invited to address any questions or concerns relating to their agencies.
DVS will videotape the meeting and post the edited video on its website by the beginning of next week.
