
Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — New Mexico State Police Crime Suppression Bureau (CSB), made 2 arrests and find 3 stolen vehicles.
On February 1, 2024, New Mexico State Police Crime Suppression Bureau conducted a traffic stop near Central and Elizabeth. One of the occupants, Jay Marshall Dean (53) had an active warrant for receiving transferring stolen motor vehicle. He was arrested without incident.

Agents also located a stolen vehicle near Marron Circle NE. Larry Medina (45) was identified as the driver and during the course of arrest, he threw a baggie containing approximately 3 grams of methamphetamine under a vehicle. Inspection of the vehicle resulted in an elaborate attempt to conceal and change the stolen vehicles Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). New ones had been created and replaced the original VIN.
2 additional unoccupied stolen vehicles were located along with a stolen license plate. Those vehicles were towed from the scene.
