Holiday air travel way down

Albuquerque, NM (KKOB)–The Albuquerque Sunport was a much quieter place over the holidays than it usually is.
Spokesman Jonathan Small says between December 18th and January 1st, there were around 74,000 incoming and outgoing passengers. That’s down 70% from the previous holiday season.
Small tells Newsradio KKOB that it’s hard to say what 2021 will bring in terms of air travel, but as the coronavirus vaccine continues to roll out, it’s hoped that people will become more comfortable with travelling.
