THE STATEWIDE AVERAGE IS 2-58, DOWN FIVE CENTS FROM LAST WEEK. THAT AVERAGE IS ALSO 35 CENTS LESS THAN WHAT GAS COST AT THIS TIME LAST YEAR. THE NATIONAL AVERAGE IS 2-67, A DROP OF FOUR CENTS FROM LAST WEEK.
