MAJOR EXCITEMENT AT THE ALBERTSON’S SUPERMARKET AT LOMAS AND JUAN TABO IN ALBUQUERQUE’S NORTHEAST HEIGHTS LATE WEDNESDAY. THAT’S WHEN A SECURITY GUARD INSIDE THE STORE FIRED SHOTS AT A MAN AROUND 11PM WHO REPEATEDLY RAMMED HIS CAR INTO THE FRONT OF THE STORE AND IS BELIEVED TO HAVE BEEN TRYING TO HELP A WOMAN ACCUSED OF SHOPLIFTING GET AWAY.
THE DRIVER LATER DIED OF HIS INJURIES AT UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL. THE SECURITY GUARD WAS TREATED FOR NON-LIFE THREATENING INJURIES. HE WILL NOT BE CHARGED IN THE INCIDENT.
