JONES TELLS NEWS RADIO KKOB THAT MONSOON SEASON CAN LAST ALL THE WAY INTO LATE SEPTEMBER. HE SAYS, IN ALBUQUERQUE, WE GET CLOSE TO HALF OF OUR YEARLY PRECIPITATION DURING MONSOON SEASON. BUT IN SOUTHWESTERN NEW MEXICO, IT CAN BE AS HIGH AS 75 PERCENT.
