MEMBERS OF NEW MEXICO’S CONGRESSIONAL DELEGATION SAY THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT HAS AWARDED NEARLY 14 MILLION DOLLARS IN FUNDING TO MAKE IMPROVEMENTS AT 16 DIFFERENT AIRPORTS ACROSS THE STATE. ALMOST FIVE MILLION DOLLARS WILL GO TOWARD RUNWAY RECONSTRUCTION AT THE JET PORT IN SANTA TERESA, NEAR THE MEXICAN BORDER.
NEARLY THREE AND A HALF MILLION WILL GO TO THE FOUR CORNERS REGIONAL AIRPORT IN FARMINGTON.
