E-Scooters Arrive in Duke City

IF YOU’RE IN THE AREA OF U-N-M, THE INTERNATIONAL DISTRICT OR NOB HILL, EXPECT TO SEE THE CITY OF ALBUQUERQUE’S FIRST E-SCOOTERS. CITY COUNCILOR PAT DAVIS SAYS THE SCOOTERS ARE NOW OFFICIALLY IN SERVICE IN THOSE AREAS. DAN GROSSMAN IS THE C-E-O OF ZAGSTER, THE COMPANY THAT RUNS THE E-SCOOTER PROGRAM. HE SAYS THE SCOOTERS ARE REMOVED EVERY EVENING AT 7PM THEN PUT BACK OUT ON THE STREETs AT 7AM. IT COSTS 1-DOLLAR TO UNLOCK AN E-SCOOTER THEN 15 CENTS A MINUTE AFTERWARDS. GROSSMAN SAYS HIS COMPANY WILL HAVE 750 OF THE SCOOTERS IN ALBUQUERQUE BY THE BEGINNING OF JULY.
