SOME HOLLYWOOD FILMMAKERS SAY THEY’LL NO LONGER MAKE MOVIES OR TV SHOWS IN GEORGIA AFTER THE STATE SIGNED ITS NEW “HEART BEAT” ABORTION BILL INTO LAW. THAT COULD MEAN MORE FILM WORK FOR NEW MEXICO. CHANNEL 7 NEWS REPORTS NEW MEXICO JUST MADE FILMING HERE MORE ATTRACTIVE BY IMPROVING INCENTIVES FOR PRODUCTION COMPANIES.

JIM GRAEBNER IS A FILM INSTRUCTOR AT CNM AND SAYS HOLLYWOOD IS KNOWN FOR SUPPORTING THE RIGHT TO CHOOSE. GRAEBNER SAYS IF THERE’S A MASS EXODUS OF PRODUCTION COMPANIES FROM GEORGIA BECAUSE OF ITS ABORTION LAW, NEW MEXICO SHOULD BE IN A GREAT POSITION.
