NEW MEXICO’S ST. CLAIR WINERY & BISTRO HAS A NEW NAME. IT’S NOW D.H. LESCOMBES WINERY & BISTRO. AND THAT’S ALL THAT CHANGING, ACCORDING TO DIRECTOR OF BISTRO OPERATIONS WAYNE MOORE. MOORE SAYS THE “D” AND “H” IN THE NEW NAME STAND FOR DANIELLE AND HERVE LESCOMBES, THE TWO PEOPLE WHO IMMIGRATED TO NEW MEXICO FROM FRANCE AND ULTIMATELY CREATED THE ICONIC WINERY BUSINESS.
KOB TV REPORTS THERE WILL BE NEW LOGOS FOR THE RESTAURANT NEAR ABQ’S OLD TOWN, BUT THE LOGO ON WINE BOTTLES WILL STAY THE SAME. A WINE CLUB IS NOW IN THE WORKS AND PLANS FOR A NEW BISTRO IN ALAMOGORDO.
