SEVERAL MONTHS AFTER TWO COUSINS WERE KILLED IN A CAR CRASH ON ALBUQUERQUE’S WEST SIDE, THE PERSON ALLEGEDLY RESPONSIBLE HAS BEEN INDICTED. ATWENTY-TWO YEAR OLD DOMINIC MARTINEZ IS CHARGED WITH VEHICULAR HOMICIDE AND DWI IN THE DEATHS OF JAKOB AND KAYDEN MONTOYA.
POLICE SAY MARTINEZ CRASHED INTO THE MONTOYA’S VEHICLE ON THE DAY BEFORE THANKSGIVING. TWO PASSENGERS IN MARTINEZ’S VEHICLE WERE SERIOUSLY INJURED. THE ALBUQUERQUE JOURNAL REPORTS MARTINEZ PLEADED NOT GUILTY DURING HIS ARRAIGNMENT ON MONDAY.
