Guilty Pleas from Fatal Crash Suspect

DOMINIC ROUGEMONT OF ALBUQUERQUE COULD BE HEADED TO PRISON FOR 21 YEARS. HE’S ENTERED GUILTY PLEAS TO A NUMBER OF CHARGES, INCLUDING VEHICULAR HOMICIDE AND ARMED ROBBERY, IN CONNECTION WITH A DEADLY CRASH IN OCTOBER OF 2017.

AUTHORITIES SAY ROUGEMONT WAS DRIVING A JEEP THAT HAD BEEN STOLEN AT GUNPOINT WHEN HE SLAMMED INTO ANOTHER VEHICLE IN THE NORTHEAST HEIGHTS, KILLING 23 YEAR OLD D’MARKUS BLEA.

TWO OTHERS WHO WERE IN THE JEEP WITH ROUGEMONT ARE ALSO AWAITING SENTENCING.
