AN ALBUQUERQUE BUSINESSMAN PLEADS GUILTY TO FEDERAL TAX EVASION CHARGES. SEVENTY-SIX YEAR OLD DAVID CASTLE, THE OWNER OF GOLD AND SILVER EXCHANGE, ADMITTED THAT HE FAILED TO PAY MORE THAN 200-THOUSAND DOLLARS IN TAXES THAT HE OWED THE IRS OVER SEVERAL YEARS.
HE WAS ORIGINALLY CHARGED IN FEBRUARY OF 2018. WHEN CASTLE IS SENTENCED, HE FACES UP TO FIVE YEARS IN PRISON, A FINE OF 250-THOUSAND DOLLARS, PLUS RESTITUTION.
