A SANTA FE WOMAN MAY THINK TWICE BEFORE TRYING TO HELP SOMEONE AGAIN. THE NEW MEXICAN REPORTS THE WOMAN WAS LEAVING A STORE SUNDAY WHEN TWO OTHER WOMEN, IDENTIFIED AS MELANIE RIVERA AND NICHOLETTE MIERA, APPROACHED HER AND ASKED FOR MONEY. AS SHE WAS LOOKING IN HER WALLET, IT WAS KNOCKED OUT OF HER HANDS AND THE WOMEN TOOK OFF WITH IT.
RIVERA AND MIERA WERE ARRESTED AND CHARGED WITH ROBBERY AND OTHER CRIMES.
