HE DECIDED TO STOP HIS VEHICLE ON SOME RAILROAD TRACKS, ATTRACTING THE ATTENTION OF BURLINGTON NORTHERN-SANTA FE RAILWAY SECURITY OFFICERS.
DONA ANA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT DEPUTIES WERE SUMMONED AND DISCOVERED THAT AVALOS HAD AN OPEN CONTAINER IN HIS VEHICLE AND HE TOLD THEM HE HAD BEEN DRINKING EARLIER. AVALOS WENT THROUGH A FIELD SOBRIETY TEST AND WAS THEN ARRESTED. TURNS OUT, HE KNOWS THE ROUTINE. HE HAS FIVE PREVIOUS D-W-I CONVICTIONS.
