STATE POLICE ARE INVESTIGATING OUTSIDE FARMINGTON, WHERE A PLANE WENT DOWN SUNDAY AFTERNOON ON COUNTY ROAD 7650 AND HIGHWAY 371. THE PLANE WAS A CIRRUS SR-22 AND HAD BEEN REPORTED MISSING SUNDAY AFTERNOON BY DENVER AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL. THE FAA SAYS THE LAST LOCATION OF THE PLANE WAS REPORTED TO BE ABOUT 50 MILES SOUTH OF FARMINGTON.
AN FAA SPOKESPERSON SAY THERE WAS ONLY ONE PERSON ON BOARD, BUT NO UPDATE HAS BEEN GIVEN ON THAT PERSON’S CONDITION.
