THE BIGGEST DROP IN CRIME CAME IN THREE AREAS: ROBBERY … DOWN 22 PERCENT, OR HALF OF WHAT IT WAS IN 2017 … AUTO THEFT DROPPED 29 PERCENT SINCE THE 38 PERCENT DECREASE IN 2017 … AND AUTO BURGLARY, DOWN 28 PERCENT AFTER A DECREASE OF 45 PERCENT IN 2017. THE REPORT ALSO SHOWED RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES WERE DOWN 32 PERCENT THIS YEAR …COMMERCIAL BURGLARIES DROPPED ONLY 2 PERCENT … MURDERS WERE DOWN 24 PERCENT AND RAPES DROPPED 7 PERCENT.
