Davon Lymon Trial Claims Self Defense

IT WAS SELF DEFENSE. THAT’S WHAT ALLEGED COP KILLER DAVON LYMON SAYS ABOUT THE SHOOTING OF APD OFFICER DANIEL WEBSTER BACK IN 2015. LYMON’S ACCUSED OF PULLING THE TRIGGER ON WEBSTER, AND LYMON ISN’T DENYING THAT HE’S THE PERSON WHO DID KILL WEBSTER OUTSIDE A WALGREENS STORE AT CENTRAL AND EUBANK.

BUT THE DEFENSE AND THE PROSECUTION HAVE STORIES THAT DIFFER WHEN IT COMES TO WHAT HAPPENED THAT DAY IN 2015. DEFENSE LAWYER TOM CLARK SAYS WEBSTER DRAW HIS WEAPON WHEN HE PULLED LYMON OVER FOR RIDING A STOLEN MOTORCYCLE, BUT HOLSTERED IT WHEN THE 38 YEAR OLD LYMON AND HIS PASSENGER PUT THEIR HANDS UP. CLARK SAYS LYMON FIRED WHEN HE SAW HIS LIFE WAS IN DANGER.

THE TRIAL CONTINUES THURSDAY IN ALBUQUERQUE.
