AN 81 YEAR OLD PRIEST ACCUSED OF REPEATEDLY RAPING AN ALTER SERVER OVER TWO YEARS IN THE LATE 1980S IS OUT OF JAIL. THE SERVER IS NOW IN HER LATE 30S. THE ALBUQUERQUE JOURNAL REPORTS THAT’S AFTER A JUDGE MONDAY RULED THAT SABINE GRIEGO WOULD BE ALLOWED OUT OF CUSTODY WHILE HE WAITS FOR HIS TRIAL TO START. THE JUDGE ORDERED HIM TO LIVE WITH HIS RELATIVES. HE’S ALSO BANNED TO HAVE ANY CONTACT WITH CHILDREN.
THE JOURNAL REPORTS GRIEGO’S LAWYER ARGUED IN COURT MONDAY THAT THE SERVER IN THIS CASE HAD ALREADY BEEN CONVICTED OF IDENTITY THEFT AND HEALTH CARE FRAUD … AND ALSO LIKED TO SHOCK PEOPLE. THE PROSECUTION SAYS GRIEGO VIOLENTLY RAPED THE GIRL, STARTING WHEN SHE WAS IN THE SECOND GRADE AT QUEEN OF HEAVEN CATHOLIC SCHOOL.
