APD Still Talking to Shooting Witnesses

DETECTIVES WITH THE ALBUQUERQUE POLICE DEPARTMENT CONTINUE TO SEEK-OUT WITNESSES FROM SUNDAY AFTERNOON’S FATAL SHOOTING ON SOUTHBOUND I-25 NEAR THE MONTANO EXIT. ONE MAN WAS SHOT AND KILLED. OFFICER SIMON DROBIK TELLS US THEY’RE ALSO REVIEWING ANY VIDEO OF THE INCIDENT THAT MAY EXIST.

DROBIK SAYS TWO MEN WERE IN A RIDE-SHARE WHEN THERE WAS SOME KIND OF ARGUMENT BETWEEN THEM AND THE DRIVER. AT ONE POINT, THE DRIVER FELT THREATENED BY THE MEN AND SHOT ONE OF THEM, KILLING HIM.

NO ARRESTS HAVE BEEN MADE.
