A BIG FIRE NORTH OF DOWNTOWN ALBUQUERQUE MONDAY NIGHT. IT STARTED IN A STACKED PILE OF TIRES OUTSIDE THE ROBERT GIBSON AUTO SHOP AT 4TH AND CONSTITUTION NEAR TRACTOR BREWING. THE FIRE STARTED WITH THE TIRES, BUT JUMPED TO THE REPAIR SHOP. WHEN ALBUQUERQUE FIRE RESCUE CREWS IN SIX TRUCKS ARRIVED ON SCENE, THEY SAY THEY SAW BLACK SMOKE HOVERING OVER DOWNTOWN.
