THE NAMASTE DEVELOPMENT PLAN IS NOW APPROVED BY THE ENVIRONMENTAL PLANNING COMMISSION. THAT’S AFTER MOST OF THE RESIDENTS SPEAKING TO THE COMMISSION AT THURSDAY’S MEETING RAISED CONCERNS ABOUT DEVELOPMENT THE 23-ACRE LOT ADJACENT TO THE BOSQUE AND WHAT ARE BEING CALLED “SENSITIVE LANDS.”
THOSE WHO HAVE CONCERNS ABOUT THE NAMASTE DEVELOPMENT SAY THEY’LL APPEAL THE EPC’S DECISION. THERE’S ALSO ANOTHER APPEAL THAT STARTED EARLIER. OPPOSITION TO THE PROJECT WAS ALSO HEARD AT THE MAYOR’S OFFICE.
THE ALBUQUERQUE CITY COUNCIL HAS FINAL APPROVAL ON THE NAMASTE DEVELOPMENT.
