More Bad Weather for NM

A BIG WINTER STORM WILL BE IMPACTING NEW MEXICO THROUGH MID-WEEK. NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE METEOROLOGIST TODD SHOEMAKE SAYS THE HIGH PEAKS OF THE SANGRE DE CRISTO, JEMEZ, AND SAN JUAN MOUNTAINS WILL GET BLASTED WITH SNOW:

SHOEMAKE SAYS BY WEDNESDAY, SOME OF THOSE AREAS COULD SEE THREE FEET OF SNOW, OR EVEN MORE. HE SAYS IT WON’T BE COLD ENOUGH TO SNOW IN ALBUQUERQUE. BUT BY WEDNESDAY WE COULD SEE VERY STRONG WINDS AGAIN, GUSTING ABOVE 50 MPH.
