Mistrial Ruled in James Stewart Case

THE JUDGE IN THE TRIAL OF JAMES STEWART HAS DECLARED A MISTRIAL. STEWART IS BEING TRIED FOR ALLEGEDLY PROSTITUTING HIS YOUNG DAUGHTER, WHO TESTIFIED FOR A SECOND DAY ON WEDNESDAY. THE DEFENSE IS ASKING FOR A MISTRIAL, CLAIMING A WITNESS BROKE THE RULES CONCERNING WHAT COULD BE SAID IN COURT.

JUDGE CINDY LEOS SPOKE IN COURT ON THURSDAY ABOUT “PREJUDICIAL TESTIMONY” GIVEN WEDNESDAY BY GUANDA KENNEY, A WITNESS, AND SAID IT WAS GROUNDS FOR THE MISTRIAL. A NEW TRIAL DATE IS NOW SET FOR APRIL 1ST.
