APD HAS NOW IDENTIFIED TWO SUSPECTS WANTED IN A ROAD RAGE INCIDENT THAT OCCURRED IN ALBUQUERQUE ON VALENTINE’S DAY ON SOUTHBOUND I-25 NEAR THE MARTIN LUTHER KING EXIT. THEY’RE IDENTIFIED AS 22 YEAR OLDS STEVEN LOVATO AND ONEISHA HERRERA.
ARREST WARRANTS HAVE BEEN ISSUED FOR THE SUSPECTS. POLICE SAY THEY BOTH PLAYED A ROLE IN THE ROAD RAGE INCIDENT THAT LEFT ONE MAN WITH A GUNSHOT WOUND TO HIS LEG. HERRERA WILL FACE CHARGES OF RECKLESS DRIVING AND HARBORING A FELON. LOVATO STANDS TO BE CHARGED WITH SHOOTING FROM A MOTOR VEHICLE AND AGGRAVATED BATTERY WITH A DEADLY WEAPON.
POLICE SAY THEY DID GET A TIP YESTERDAY (WED) THAT REPORTED LOVATO BRAGGING ABOUT THE ROAD RAGE SHOOTING ON FACEBOOK, WHICH ALSO SAID HE HAD SHAVED OFF HIS BEARD AND THAT HE AND HIS GIRLFRIEND, ONEISHA, WERE HIDING IN ESPANOLA.
