More Winter for NM

THE LATEST WINTER STORM TO HIT NEW MEXICO HAS NOW MOVED OUT OF THE STATE. SNOWFALL TOTALS IN THE Albuquerque AREA RANGE FROM A TRACE TO TWO OR THREE INCHES. BUT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE METEOROLOGIST TODD SHOEMAKE SAYS, TO FIND THE BIG SNOWFALL TOTALS, YOU HAVE TO GO TO THE NORTHERN MOUNTAINS. HE SAYS SOME AREAS AROUND LOS ALAMOS AND THE JEMEZ RECEIVED MORE THAN A FOOT OF SNOW AND THERE’S ABOUT A FOOT IN THE TOWN OF LOS ALAMOS.

SHOEMAKE SAYS ANOTHER STORM WILL IMPACT THE STATE THURSDAY NIGHT INTO FRIDAY…MOSTLY IN WESTERN AND NORTHERN NEW MEXICO. HE SAYS ALBUQUERQUE COULD GET SOME LIGHT SNOW, BUT LITTLE ACCUMULATION.
