A JUDGE IN CLOVIS HAS SENTENCED NATHANIEL JOUETT TO LIFE IN PRISON FOR KILLING TWO PEOPLE AT A PUBLIC LIBRARY. IT WILL MORE THAN 30 YEARS BEFORE HE’S ELIGIBLE FOR PAROLE.
JOUETT WAS 16 WHEN HE OPENED FIRE INSIDE THE LIBRARY IN AUGUST OF 2017, KILLING EMPLOYEES WANDA WALTERS AND KRISSIE CARTER. HE PLEADED GUILTY TO 30 FELONIES, INCLUDING TWO COUNTS OF FIRST DEGREE MURDER.
FOUR OTHER PEOPLE, INCLUDING A TEN YEAR OLD BOY, WERE INJURED IN THE SHOOTING.
