AN ALBUQUERQUE JUDGE FACES A DRUNK DRIVING CHARGE. DEBORAH WALKER, WHO’S BEEN A FAMILY COURT JUDGE FOR MORE THAN 20 YEARS, WAS ARRESTED WEDNESDAY NIGHT FOLLOWING A CRASH IN THE 2-THOUSAND BLOCK OF CANDELARIA NORTHWEST.
THE ARRESTING OFFICER SAYS WALKER SMELLED OF ALCOHOL AND HAD SLURRED SPEECH. A BREATHALYZER TEST SHOWED SHE WAS ABOVE THE LEGAL LIMIT.
THE ALBUQUERQUE JOURNAL REPORTS WALKER WAS RELEASED AFTER BEING BOOKED INTO THE METRO DETENTION CENTER.
