The UNM Ski Team will be back for next season. The Athletic Department had decided to cut the program for budget reasons but the Board of Regents has now reversed that decision, allowing the program to continue for at least one more year. A news release from the ski team says coaches and supporters will be able to use next year to establish a long-term funding mechanism to keep the team in place thereafter.
