Heather Wilson has been confirmed as Air Force Secretary. The Senate on Monday voted 76-22 to approve the former New Mexico Congresswoman.
Wilson becomes President Trump’s first service nominee to win confirmation. His picks to head the Army and Navy were both forced to withdraw from consideration. Wilson will be the first Air Force Academy graduate to hold the service’s top civilian post.
