Bernalillo County Treasurer Nancy Bearce says we’re in the home stretch when it comes to paying property taxes. They’re due by May 10th. Bearce tells News Radio KKOB it isn’t just about collecting money at her office but making sure it gets to the entities that have mill levies and rely on property tax revenue.
Bearce was elected last November so this is her first time overseeing the collection of Bernalillo County property taxes.
