Mayor RJ Berry tells News Radio KKOB 85% of the crew on the show are New Mexico residents. He says the show has been an important part of the city’s film industry and has also benefited local businesses.
The series is a prequel to the hit series “Breaking Bad.” also filmed in ABQ and follows the exploits of ABQ’s most notorious criminal lawyer as he transitions for Jimmy McGill to Saul Goodman.
