State Auditor Tim Keller says the City of Albuquerque has been scammed out of $400,000. Keller, who’s running for Mayor of Albuquerque, says someone with the city was taken in a by a fraudulent request to change vendor payment information- resulting in the loss of the public funds. The Auditor’s Office sent out a fraud alert earlier this week after the same scam resulted in the loss of $200,000 for a school in Socorro.
