Albuquerque Police have ID’d the victim of last night’s homicide at the Smith’s at 111 Coors Blvd Northeast. Police say 58-year-old Larry Mullin was senselessly killed by 26-year-old Luke Waruszewski who is now charged with an open count of murder. Mullin was a cab driver and had been dispatched to pick up Waruszewski around 8:30 PM. Police later got a call from a woman who said her son had stolen a cab and hurt someone. State Police were notified that a man with a cab was at the Dancing Eagle Trading Center off I-40. That’s where they arrested Waruszewski.
