Immigration and Customs Enforcement Officers are conducting targeted raids in Las Cruces. Eight State Lawmakers have sent a letter to Governor Martinez addressing their concerns over the reported raids. The lawmakers included Senator Jeff Steinborn and Representatives Bill McCamley, Angelica Rubio, Doreen Gallegos, and Rudy Martinez.
